Volunteer

Volunteering with the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society

The Thunder Bay & District Humane Society has designed a Volunteer Program that allows our Volunteers to contribute in a dedicated and meaningful way. Effective May 30th, our applications will be designated to specific roles to ensure we are able to implement Volunteers efficiently into our shelter. If you are interested in multiple roles, you must apply for each one separately.

Our new and revisited volunteer roles allow for opportunity to assist animals in need and provide insight on how our shelter operates daily. We welcome and encourage all individuals to apply for the position that best suits you! (Note: Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to apply).

To apply, please fill out our volunteer application form. Once you have completed your application, you should receive a message that it has been submitted to our team. Once your application is reviewed and approved our Coordinator will contact you to schedule an interview.

We thank you for your interest in Volunteering with our organization!
